LITIGATION

The firm’s litigation practice consists of both general commercial litigation in federal and state courts, and securities industry litigation and arbitrations at the self-regulatory organizations and the American Arbitration Association. We also represent parties in investigations and enforcement matters instituted by the various securities industry Self-Regulatory Organizations.

In our commercial litigation practice we represent corporations of various sizes and individual officers, directors and owners in disputes involving the breach and performance of contracts, shareholder disputes, and other general business and commercial matters. Our litigation partners combine for over 75 years experience at the trial and appellate levels.

In our securities industry litigation and arbitration practice, we represent both large and small broker-dealers, registered representatives and, where appropriate, customers, in proceedings involving potential damages in the millions of dollars. We also represent both firms and employees in administrative and disciplinary proceedings before regulatory and self-regulatory authorities. Our extensive experience in arbitration and administrative matters provides us with a keen insight as to the most effective manner to conduct each case.
